Abstract:Tectonic stress field is the direct factor of rock deformation and fracture.The previous study of tectonic stress field simulation based on a few well points of data from rock mechanics experimentation regarded the formation roughly as a homogeneous geological body with the same mechanical parameters anywhere,which would inevitably result in the distortion of simulation results and be supposed to have minor practical effect.A certain layer of Shang 741 igneous rock area in Huimin Sag was taken as an example based on the acquirement of rock mechanics parameters and the identification of igneous rock lithology by conventional logging data and a new method was adopted,which gave different elastic modulus and Poisson′s ratio to rock strata with different lithology characteristics.The tectonic stress field was simulated with the variable parameters of rock mechanics and fracture prediction was done combined with several kinds of data,such as outcrop and dip log,in which the study area was divided into three favorable fracture areas.The fact that the simulation results are consistent with previous knowledge shows that the finite element numerical simulation technology considering different lithology and rock mechanics parameters is a feasible method of studying the tectonic stress field,providing an effective way for the fracture quantitative prediction.
