Abstract:Fault zone plays a vital role for hydrocarbon accumulation and distribution.It not only can act as barrier to form oil and gas reservoir during the process of hydrocarbon accumulation,but also can connect source rocks and traps as a bridge.At the same time,it can destroy the oil and gas reservoir formed at early stage.So the fault role in oil and gas accumulation depends on fault sealing.This paper comprehensively evaluated the fault sealing of No.2 Fault Zone(Ledong,Lingshui and Songnan-Baodao Members) in Qiongdongnan Basin by using the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method.The results show that the fault sealing of Ledong and Lingshui Members is medium,but the Songnan-Baodao Member is poor;there is little difference in fault sealing between the hanging wall and the foot wall of fault in Ledong Member,and the other layers have good sealing apart from the first member of Lingshui Formation;the sealing of the hanging wall and the foot wall of fault in Lingshui Member is medium;there are great changes in fault sealing between Songnan and Baodao Members.The fault sealing of Lingshui Formation is poor and the fault sealing of lower member of Sanya Formation is good.
