To Optimize the Selectio n of Part Tolerances Based on Assembly Requirement

To mark dimensions and tolerances on the designing drawing are the two important phases for product design. To improve the inter-changeability, reduce cost and scraps, a new way for optimizing tolerances for assembling parts is presented. The way can set up an optimal mathema_ tic model containing several variables and restricting conditions based on the initially distributed tolerance and assembly requirement, and determine the dimensional tolerance of each part through planned solution, so that all assembly requirements are met. The way is simple and suitable for all users.
