A Study of Application of Segmental Box Girder Prefabrication Long-line-method in Rail Traffic Projects

Segmental box girder assembling technique has been used widely in many projects such as rail traffic, cross sea bridge and ground viaduct, etc. And segmental box girder prefabrication is the precondition of its assembling. Taking the BC-7, BC-34 and BC-26 Bids of Rail Traffic (II Phrase) in New Delhi, India for example, the key points of long-line-method technique are put forward totally including prefabricated platform type, internal formwork, pier top precasting, external & internal formworks installations, concrete casting, formwork removing and segment maintainence, etc.
