Applications of Modern Project Management in Software Development

Since1980s,modern project management method started to come into new fields such as information system en gineering,network engineering,software en gineering,large construction engineering and high-tech project development,even all aspects of social production and living.Its function in the enterprise's strategic de velopment and daily operation becomes more and more important.In China,the function of project management started to be really recognized after1990s,es pe cial-ly in recent years and the project management method started to popu-larize slowly from engineering project management to software develop-ment project manage ment.In this paper,the detailed informa tion on modern project management is in troduced through the implementation of the developing pro ject on mobile communication network man agement sys-tem in a certain city.
