The Dongpu Ancient Town is one Jiangnan canal town with a long history, and known as the hometown of the famous Shaoxing alcohol, the hometown of ancient bridges, and the hometown of great people. Based on site survey, this article summarizes the town’s landscape features from the aspects of location, overal layout, water and streets system, buildings, character nodes and the sequence of views. The result contributes to today’s conservation and utilization of the Dongpu Ancient Town.
