Research For Peter Zumthor's Material Concept From The Perspective Of Architecture Phenomenology

This research focuses on the phenomenology idea in Peter Zumthor‘s material concept. Two important viewpoints in Peter Zumthor‘s phenomenology idea are studied by examining his architecture work and essay: one is “to the things themselves”, which is related to the cognition of construction material property; the other is about the “life world”, which accounts for forming the spirit of place.
