Urban green space system planning is an important element of urban master planning in China. For quite a while, the department of urban and rural planning has not attached enough importance to it. Nowadays, environment problems have become increasingly serious and people’s demand for quality of life has grown higher. In this circumstances, green space system planning is particularly important. It undertakes the task of placing urban green space which based on variety of demands. In this essay, by studying the problems that urban green space system planning are facing in this stage and some successful cases, we discuss the chalenges the system wil meet and the future outlook.
