| Abstract: | The synthesis of a nanocomposite powder of a solid solution of carbon in silicon carbide with controlled content of nitride phases is considered. A method of activated sintering for molding a pore-free nanocomposite ceramic with superior mechanical properties is proposed. Microstructure of the sintered ceramic is examined. |
