| Abstract: | Centering on The Old Man and the Sea as well as other important works by Ernest Hemingway, thisarticle discusses the theme of his works and analyses his outlook on women. It also points out that the creation of thecode hero is the superficial representation in this work, and the underlying theme of his iceberg principle isrevealed in an everlasting search in life. |
