Study on Smart Diagnosis in Smart Grid Domain

Based on requirements of smart grid and combined with real needs from power network, this paper describe the concept of smart diagnosis, five characteristics, and the necessity of the implementation in smart grid, furthermore, give a preliminary three-tier architecture of intelligent diagnosis. In this three-tier architecture elaborated smart cable partial discharge instance, combined with the specific power situation at home and abroad, smart diagnosis is summarized and long-term prospects.
