Analysis of thermal cycling by solid mensuration |

| Abstract: | The plastic flow of material in specimens during thermal cycling was studied. Assuming that the same volume of material migrates during each cycle, a mathematical expression representing the change of volume was derived. This expression could then be used to predict the number of cycles to failure. |
