| Abstract: | This paper demonstrates that the Maggi's equations in analytical dynamics are the foundation of the various dimension-reduction methods for the dynamic modelling of constrained mechanical systems, and developes Maggi's dynamic equations with embeded constraints for constrained mechanical systems making use of the genearlized coordinates partitioning method and the singular value decomposition method respectively. |
