MPEG Audio编码技术初探

摘    要:如何最大限度地提高数据编码的压缩效率是人们一直追求的目标。在音频编码领域,人类利用自身听觉系统特性来压缩音频数据取得了很大进展,先后制定出MPEG-1Audio,MPEG-2Audio和MPEG-2AAC等一系列音频压缩标准。本文介绍了MPEG编码标准,重点研究了目前应用最为广泛的MP3编解码技术和LAME编码引擎。

Abstract:How to maximumly improve the compression efficiency in digital data coding is our tireless aim. In the field of high fidelity compression of digital audio, considerable research has been devoted and great progres,; has been achieved by exploiting the perceptual properties of the human auditory system, accordingly a series of audio coding standards such as MPEG-1 Audio, MPEG-2 Audio and MPEG-2 AAC has been developed. This paper gives an overview of the MPEG standard, initially probes the coding algorithm behind the widely applied MP3 in detail. At last, the paper introduces LAME encoder, which is the best MP3 encoder available for free.
