| Abstract: | Two new pincer bis (carbene) ligands and corresponding ruthenium (II) carbonyl iodide complexes have been synthesized and characterized. The structures of complexes 3 and 4 have been determined by X-ray crystallography. Complexes 3 and 4 have been proved to be efficient catalysts in the transfer hydrogenation of acetophenone. |
