| Abstract: | For adapting the demands of the increasing of quality and productivity, the shortening of production designing and manufacturing cycle, the droping of investing risk, and enhancing the competing capability of enterprise in the international market, various modern manufactureing systems have been put forward, such as Virtual manufacturing technology (VMT) and Virtual manufacturing system (VMS). In this paper, the concepts of VMT and VMS, the basic component and the key technologies and the development environment for VMS was put forward. |
