Abstract:Resource availability in wireless devices has many constraints with major the dynamically changing topology nature of such environments. A challenging research issue is to combine the availability of the requested resources and the time-access for sharing resources of each device with the synchronized motion for time duration t as in real time Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) communication, in a cooperative manner. This work investigates this scenario using resource sharing slots that are scheduled according to the direction movement and the connectivity within a specific allowed range. Additionally a Synchronized Cooperative Schedule scheme is proposed where the duration of the requested resources that are allowed to be exchanged within a given path, is provided by the nodal delay table, where nodes with high ping delays are isolated from the requested path. The proposed scheme evaluates also the users’ grade of participation in the sharing process of the requested resources as well as it utilizes a quantitative scheme which indicates the correctness ratio of the overall replica allocation process at a certain time for optimum replica distribution. Simulation study is carried out for throughput, scheme’s characterization against performance and for the correctness of the overall replica allocation, taking into account a number of metrics and the estimation of the effects of implementing the proposed scenario in real time. Simulation results show that the proposed scheme enables greater intercluster participation while resources are being exchanged in a reliable manner.
