Abstract:Orthogonal frequency division multiplexing(OFDM)systems have a drawback of high peak-to-average power ratio(PAPR).This paper makes a deep analysis of PAPR.Since the peak cancellation crest factor reduction(PC-CFR)algorithm could introduce high nonlinear distortion,a joint PAPR reduction scheme,which combines PC-CFR with partial transmission sequence(PTS)algorithm,is proposed in this paper.Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can apparently reduce the error vector magnitude(EVM)and improve bit error rate(BER)performance.
