Abstract:The Real Time Broadband Communication(RTBC),Harmonized Communication and Sensing(HCS),and Uplink Centric Broadband Communication(UCBC)services in the 5G Advanced evolution vision bring new challenges to network latency and lightweight deployment.This article systematically reviews the overall architecture and key technical directions of the 5G edge network,including intelligent offloading technology,cooperative service discovery technology,and 3GPP standard evolution rhythm.It also looks forward to the technical development trend of 5G Advanced intelligent edge network,including seamless application migration and intercommunication cross operators,the collaboration and integration of AI and sensing computing power,and the edge network architecture based on the aerospace integration,etc.
