| Abstract: | This paper analyzes the causes for English majors to lay more emphasis on English than Chinese and puts forward the measures for the reform of the Chinese teaching for English majors: strengthening the students' understanding of the importance of Chinese study; encouraging students' interest and enthusiasm of Chinese study; reforming the contents of Chinese teaching; and reforming teaching methods. |
