| Abstract: | he history of development,the present situation and the industrial applications of packed columnand column packing are described.analyzes some technical problems in the theoretical studies,such asflow and distribution of fluids in the packed column,back mixing phenomena in the mass transfer pro-cess,mass transfer dynamics,etc. and points out the direction for future studies. |
