A Study on the Cotton Compact Siro-spinning Technology

Compact siro-spinning is a new spinning technology that combines siro-spinning and compact spinning on traditional ring spinning machine.The article introduces the principle and characteristics of compact siro-spinning.A spinning experiment is carried out by incorporating a cotton compact siro-spinning device to the local-made FA 502 spinning frame.Conclusion can be drawn from the experiment that compact spinning technology and siro-spinning technology can be operated simultaneously on ring spinning frame for the purposes of developing new yarn and improving the quality of yarn.The experiment results also show that some parameters such as the under-pressure inside the perforated suction tube and the tension drafting multiple in the compacting zone as well as the shape and position of the two suction slots have considerable effect on the quality of yarn.
