摘    要:车牌识别技术作为智能交通管理的核心技术,在现代化的交通管理系统中占有重要的地位,基于DSP芯片TMS320C6446构建车牌识别系统,具有集成度高、安装方便、扩充性好、操作简单等特点,同时,也能够应对交通系统中各种复杂天气情况等工作要求,因此具有广阔的应用前景。从嵌入式车牌识别算法的研究和基于TMS320C6446的硬件平台的构建两个方面,对嵌入式车牌识别技术做了比较深入的研究,设计的车牌识别方法具有比较高的识别率和较快的识别速度,具有一定的实用价值。

Abstract:As the core technology of intelligent transportation management,license plate recognition occupies important position in the traffic control system.License Plate Recognition System Based on TMS320C6446 has the characteristics of high integration level,easy installation,perfect extensibility and simple operation.In addition,this technology applies for various complicated weather condition.So,it have a wide application prospect.This article focuses on the algorithmic research of license plate recognition and the structure of hardware platform based on TMS320c6446 of DSP.Experimental result shows that the License Plate Recognition method which is this article suggested has a certain practical value because of the high recognition rate and fast recognition speed.
