清代赣南地区民间风水信仰及其原因探析

风水是中国传统文化的重要组成部分,是一种蕴意丰富的民俗文化事象。赣南是形势派风水的发源地,历史上,风水信仰指导着赣南民众的日常生活和生产。清代赣南地区风水信仰状况盛极一时,出现了泛滥化的倾向,给当地社会造成了停柩不葬、二次葬与诉讼、盗葬与械斗等社会问题。这些问题的出现与当时社会动荡的大背景、地方官员的安抚姑息、风水灵验故事的传承以及风水术所宣传的魂神还养互惠理念及其魂神还害互损效应等等密切相关。

Folk geomancy belief and its causes in Gannan Region during Qing Dynasty

Geomancy,a significant folk culture phenomenon in China,is an important part of Chinese traditional culture.Gannan is the birthplace of the situational school of geomancy.Historically speaking,the geomancy belief guided Gannan people＇s daily life and work.In Qing Dynasty the geomancy belief was in full flourish in Gannan Region for a long period.Its proliferation resulted in lots of social problems,including keeping the dead unburied at home,burying the dead in others＇graves,twice burial,legal disputes and armed fighting.Such problems should be attributed to the turbulent social backdrop,the local officials＇appeasement,the passing stories of geomancy＇s efficaciousness,and the idea that the soul and the spirit are mutually beneficial but reciprocally harmful.
