一种基于颜色和灰度跳变的车牌定位方法

通过对现在的车牌定位方法进行研究,提出了一种粗细相结合的车牌定位方法,即利用颜色特征和灰度跳变结合来确定车牌位置,首先利用车牌的颜色特征将车牌可能区域从整幅图像中确定,然后将经过图像处理技术和基于ostu二值化方法初步定位的图像变为差分图,根据白色点数来确定灰度跳变次数,再根据灰度跳变来确定车牌的具体位置.实验结果表明：这种方法对车牌的定位较为准确,对噪音的抗干扰性强,定位速度快,符合实时性的要求.

A Vehicle Plate Location Method Based on Color and Gray Level Jump
