Abstract:The primary electrical system design for Tianhuaban Hydropower Station is introduced in detail.The technological issues on main electrical connection,main equipment selection and layout,power supply to dam area and powerhouse,lightning protection and grounding are discussed herein.The experiences can be as reference to the primary electrical system design of similar projects.
