On the problem of identification of the authors of Russian publications

Abstract:	We present the results from a study of the array of Russian publications present in Web of Science in order to reveal the actual number of Russian scientists who participated in the process of writing them. We suggest algorithms and methods of identifying the authors and assessed the efficiency of these methods.
