摘    要:IP网络性能测量和评价是从事网络理论研究、网络管理和网络工程开发的重要手段。首先概述了国内外IP网络测量技术的研究现状和发展动态,然后给出了一种可扩展的分布式IP网络性能测量和评价系统的设计方案,包括系统层次结构、体系结构和功能结构,描述了系统的关键组件和可以开展的应用。

Abstract:IP network performance measurement and evaluation is one of important means for dealing with network theory researches, management and engineer development. In this paper, status quo and development dynamics of IP network measurement techniques are overviewed at first. Then, the design scheme of a scalable and distributed IP network performance measurement and evaluation system are explained systematically, including layering structure, architecture and functional structure. In addition, key components and possible applications of the system are depicted. Finally, brief summary of the paper is given.
