| Abstract: | For lots of long standing problems (for instance, conceptual design, mapping between functions and structures) in the area of automatic design, we put forward a product design process model based on the decomposing and reconstituting of functional surfaces . We also construct a product model which supports this design process model, in the hope of overcoming the limitation of the conventional CAD system, and achieve the aim of supporting conceptual design process. |
