Abstract:The neighbor structure of Pb and Eu atoms in the Eu doped BaPbO 3 polycrystal powder has been studied with the extended X ray absorption fine structure(EXAFS). Mean distances of Pb O and Eu O are obtained. Furthermore by means of XRD and ICP analysis, it is proved that Eu 3 partially replaces Pb 4 and results in the formation of oxygen vacancies in the system of Eu doped BaPbO 3.
