In retrospect of the development of the translation in Chinese of Landscape Architecture,the article summarizes three types of the translation and analyzes the causes,contributions and defects of each type.The author of this article argues that in the premise of maintaining the present subject name,it might be a significant approach for us to discuss the Chinese theoretical name of Landscape Architecture.At last,the author sets forth his position from the perspective of ontology.
