| Abstract: | The technologies for welding and fitting the penstocks of Geheyan hydropower station are described, such as test of weldability of high strength SM58Q steel plate, selection of welding materials, preheating of steel plate, regulation of point welding and arc welding, checking of welding quality, processing and fitting procedure of penstock courses, corrosion-proof treatment, release of hydrogen and residual stresses etc., and an assessment on these technologies is given. |
