塑包纯石英光纤的紫外传输性能

摘    要:本文研制两种塑料包层的纯石英光纤,探讨了光纤预制棒中杂质及羟基含量,特别是过度金属离子对紫外透过的影响。对于波长308nm的准分子激光,光纤损耗为0.5dB/m,破坏阈值为60~70mJ/mm~2。

Abstract:Two kinds of fused silca fiber consisting of a quartz core and a plastic cladding are fabricated. Effects of hydroxyl and metallic impurities (especially transission metals) content on the transmission of UV light are discussed. Loss and damage threshold of 308nm exciter, las- er pulse, based on measurements, are 0.5dB/m and 60-70mJ/mm~2 respectively.
