Abstract:Soliton interaction in optical soliton switching of dual-coupled optical fiber have been studied by using Reduced Variationed Method(RVM) in this paper. The results show that optical soliton interaction in coupled optical fiber depend on the high-order dispersion effect, soliton amplitude, soliton speed and difference phase. The high-order dispersion effect can decrease and even remove soliton interaction, which provides a utility way to remove their interaction in the design of optical soliton switching.
