A New kind of Steel for Petroleum Machinery |

| Abstract: | This paper is an introduction of investigation findings from the systematic studies of toughness and strength of a new kind of high-strength steel(referred to as experimental steel)with low carbon content. Through contrast of the toughness and strength between this new experimental steel and some kinds of commonly -used steel for petroleum machinery, and through an analysis on the application feasibility of this new steel in the field of petroleum machinery, the author asserts that this new kind of experimental steel has a good prospect for development. |
