In China, the departments of more than 20 universities can offer undergraduate programs related to pulp and paper. The course ＂lignocellulosic feedstocks for the pulp and paper industry＂ has been designed for undergraduate students, which facilitates the students＇ holistic understanding of pulp and paper. Various aspects are involved in this course, including softwoods, hardwoods, grass species, flax fibers, leaf fibers, fruit fibers, and recovered paper. The development of the course in terms of the introduction of new elements, the use of foreign videos related to pulp and paper in teaching, and enhanced internationalization, can help maintain the advanced feature of the course.
