| Abstract: | On the basis of using sub-structure finite element method to study the temperature and thermal deformation of the piston, the calculation of piston skirt profile is simplified to an one-dementional problem by introducing the optimum method. The iteration equation and converging rule are presented, and the measures for reducing the amount of recalculation in skirt design are discussed. Finally, the optimum piston skirt profile of 135 diesel engine is made as an example. |
