Real Silk/Polyurethane Fibre Entangled Composite Yarn and its Products Development

Entangled composite yarn with excellent elasticity and extensibility can be developed by compounding real silk and polyurethane fibre, and further processed into woven or kted fabrics. Such products offer a promising market due to their unique features. This paper desembes the processing technology of the composite yarn and some woven or knitted products made of such yarn.
