| Abstract: | An inclined porous slider bearing is analysed with slip velocity at the porous boundary considered. The expressions for dimensionless loadcarrying capacity, friction and the centre of pressure are obtained in the form of integrals. Minimization of the slip parameter is essential to increase the load capacity. |
