To improve the work effective of the combination instrument for the passenger vehicles,and satisfy the require-ment of tester for variety function,it is necessary to establish a flexible and effectively test bench. Through summary assessment of the function parameters of the combination instrument,the hardware is selected based on the satisfaction of the combination instrument for the function parameters,the software is selected based on test efficiency and operation stability,and the test bench is designed with simplification. Finally the method of establishing a test bench of combination instrument for the passen-ger vehicle is elaborated.
