| Abstract: | With an overall increase of 8% in terms of offering compared with the last exhibition, 1,470 exhibitors - 67% of whom came from overseas - took part in the exhibition. Nearly 100 Chinese enterprises participated in INTERMAT 2009, and total area of Chinese Pavilion was the largest in all Exhibition Pavilions. Also the net area was more than 14,000 square meters, the second-largest just behind Italy (more than 17,000 square meters), except for France.
