摘    要:通过对测量间隔为10ms的Internet路径往返延迟测量数据的分析,发现了往返延迟呈现两类截然不同的特性:突发态特性和平稳态特性。通过DFA分析,进一步得出以下结论:Internet路径往返延迟序列不具有单一的标度行为;剔除突发态数据后的往返延迟序列趋向于呈现长程相关特性,Hurst指数在0.55~0.8之间。

Abstract:This paper analyzes scaling behavior of Internet round-trip time(RTT) based on small-interval(10ms) measurements and finds that RTT series consist of two completely different components: spiky component and normal component.By using DFA method,it is found that the original RTT series do not exhibit simplex scaling behavior,but when removing spiky component,RTT series show long-range dependence,with Hurst exponent ranging from 0.55 to 0.8.
