To introduce the structure and manufacturing characteristics of box beam.The cause of its welding deformation in the manufacturing process is analyzed.The main cause causing box beam deformation and affecting whole quality is carbon arc air back gouging method.The methods and ways of suitable box beam welding in such aspects as welding process design,welding material and the selection of welding technology parameters are discussed.The cause and controlling measures of bringing welding defects in box beam welding component and equipment are introduced especially.
