Abstract: | A kind of polysiloxane with ester group as the functional side chain was prepared via hydrosilylation reaction in this article. Then the functionalized polysiloxane was submitted to complex with 1, 10‐phenanthroline and lanthanide ions (Tb3+ and Eu3+ ions, respectively) to obtain two luminescent functionalized polysiloxanes. The molecular energy transfer process takes place within these systems in terms of sensitized functions of 1, 10‐phenanthroline. Narrow‐width green and red emissions were achieved. © 2011 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J Appl Polym Sci, 2012 |
