Abstract:The degradation mechanism of landfill leachate by photocatalysis oxidation process is studied. Acorrding to the difference of the waste water quality, the affections of the reaction time, concentration of the influent, pH, ultravioleflight wavelength on the removal of organic contaminants and chromaticity of landfill leachate are studied. The test of original leachate is made, and the removal rate of CODer and decolorization rate are respectively 31.88% and 91.06%. Also, the effluent of UASB is tested again by photocatalysis oxidation, the removal rate of CODer and decolorization rate are respectively 63.56% and 93.80%.
