| Abstract: | Adding a little additive to Al 2O 3 can promote the sintering, improve the microstructure, and enhance the properties of Al 2O 3 polycrystals. The additives can be divided into two classes according to their functional mechanisms: one is to form liquid phase in matrix, the other is to form solid solution with Al 2O 3. |
