A study of priority rules implementation in the warehouse access dispatch model in third-party logistics

In light of the issues incurred by third-party logistics businesses when trying to gain access to the warehouse during peak hours, like an excessively long time spent waiting in line, a failure to distribute goods in time, and others, the criterion of dispatch by customer importance and the concept of priority are put forward in this essay. Through the establish： ment of a warehouse access dispatch model based on time and priority and related calculation method, multiple warehouse access tasks are arranged in order based on the level of importance of the customer from which the task at issue originates as well as the time period in which it takes place, in order that enhanced efficiency can be achieved in handling warehouse ac- cess operations and that the degree of customer satisfaction can be maximized.
