Focusing of radio waves reflected from the ionosphere at low angles of elevation |

| Abstract: | The mechanisms by which radio waves reflected from the ionosphere experience focusing are discussed. Calculations of this focusing are presented for oblique propagation at low angles of elevation via the E and F layers, and curves for use in prediction studies are given. |
