MPLS网中的QoS路径保护机制研究

MPLS网络中,为了在故障或拥塞发生时能为业务流提供快速恢复,一般采用路径保护技术预先为业务流建立备用路径。对于一些需要QoS支持的业务如实时业务来说,为业务流建立的备用路径必须考虑业务流的QoS要求,使得故障的发生对业务流造成的影响尽可能小。剖析MPLS QoS路径保护机制的关键技术,概述MPLS网中的QoS路径保护研究进展并进行分类,指出研究的难点以及未来的研究方向。

A research on QoS path protection mechanism in MPLS- based networks

To provide fast service restoration in the case of failure or congestion,MPLS networks can use path protection technology to pre-establish backup paths for the traffic.For some services which need QoS support,such as realtime services,the QoS requirements of the traffic must be considered while routing backup paths for the traffic to make the service degradtion as little as possible.The key technologies of the QoS path protection mechanism for MPLS-based networks are analyzed,and the progress of research is summarized and classified into three classes.Finally,the challenges of research,as well as the future research directions are pointed out.
