Abstract: | Since features of NC machining structural part have obvious hierarchical
distribution nature, a method based on the relationship of adjacent faces is provided. The faces of
the part are combined into base faces and constraint faces. Then with the concave-convex
relationship, these faces are combined into layers. The layer is used as the base of feature
recognition. By recognition and combination of layers, machining features are recognized, and
parameters of them are extracted. Finally the machining time is computed with the parameters of
NC machining tool and the features. |
